Öznur Bayar

Öznur Bayar is an international visiting scholar at Ohio State University College of Social Work. She is a PhD candidate at Hacettepe University Psychological Counseling and Guidance Doctoral Program. Her current research interest is resiliency after child maltreatment. Particularly, she focuses on protective factors that contribute to mental health following childhood adversity. She has prior research experiences in gender equality, counselor self-care and self-compassion.
